In early 2005, Satellite Air Charter of Fort Payne, Alabama came to us around the time of their startup. They needed a logo, web site and advertising materials to let the region know they existed and how SAC could help them. After several meetings with staff of SAC, we began work on a logo & theme for the company along with beginning stages of a web site.
We came up with several drafts of a logo, and after some tweaks and input from SAC staff, we created the finished product:
At this point, we began working on the web site. Since not many people are potential customers for charter airplane travel, we created the copy for the site so that it would be geared toward those SAC wanted to target: businesses needing to save time and money on travel to business meetings and be back much sooner than if using one of the "big guys." We created the copy and diagrams for comparisons that show how much time and money clients can save. These are the points that sell chartered travel, and we feel the web site properly gets these points across.
Since chartered planes can travel to many smaller airports that large companies like Delta or Southwest can't go to, clients can save on rental car costs and time by flying directly to the final destination, rather than flying to the nearest large city and driving from there. Most travelers, though, don't know the locations of small airports. So, we created an online application that allows visitors to enter a zip code of their destination (or origin) and the site instantly returns the information for the nearest airport(s) within a specified radius. This custom application utilizes a mathematical algorithm that calculates distances between longitude and latitude points. We created this from scratch!
Visitors to the site are able to use the above component if needed and submit the info to SAC to request a quote for their exact trip. They even have the ability to enter multiple stops along the way for businesses that have several meetings or stops in one trip. The site also has more simply info like tours and specs of the plane.
Be sure to visit the site at www.sataircharter.com.
We and the staff of SAC felt the best way to inform people of the new company would be a high quality direct mail piece. It needed to stand out from junk mail, but also portray the important information. We took on the challenge and created the design from scratch, along with most of the copy. Since we are a full-service company, we took care of printing the brochures for SAC once we nailed down the design. If you are a business in the tri-state area of NE Ala., S. Tenn. and NW Ga., you probably got one of these in the mail several months back. We also took care of creating business cards.

SAC has received a good response from the mailings and has received many quote requests off of their web site. If you are in the similar position SAC was in, we can help you! Get in touch with us and we will meet with you for free.
