The Family Worship Center was established as a nondenominational church with full power and authority to designate the teaching, government, principals, and practices of our Declaration of Faith. Therefore on August 16,1992, the Fort Payne Family Worship Center was officially established. In 1992 we began with 25 members and now have grown to 245 members. We begin the Family Worship Center in 1991 in the basement of the home of Terry and Rhonda DeHart. We out grew the basement the first Sunday and move to a block building on first street (Fort Payne) where we stayed for one year. In 1993 we purchased what was know as the Neighborhood Church. We have now out grown this building and have plans of building a new sanctuary and fellowship hall.
