FAQ
Thank you for being a part of our international ministry at the Family Worship Center.
It is here that we are a Family, part of the body of Christ united together.
We believe in the Family of God and its importance of worshiping together. We are a Center in which
you can bring YOUR family to worship the Lord Jesus Christ. This is why we call ourselves the Family Worship
Center. It is our desire for you to understand why we do certain things in our worship service?

our God:

many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the
Lord God omnipotent reigneth.

10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon
the throne, and unto the Lamb.
(KJV)

and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea,
and all that in them is:
(KJV)
9. Why do we receive tithes and offerings?
Mal 3:10
10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine
house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open
you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be
room enough to receive it.
(KJV)
1 Cor 16:2
2 Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as
God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.
(KJV)
2 Cor 9:6-8
6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he
which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not
grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having
all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
(KJV)
10. Why do we speak in unknown tongues in the church?

1 Cor 12:7-10
7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of
knowledge by the same Spirit;
9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the
same Spirit;
10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another
discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the
interpretation of tongues:
(KJV)
1 Cor 14:5

interpret, that the church may receive edifying.

three, and that by course; and let one interpret.
(KJV)
11. Why do some prophesy?
1 Cor 14:1-5
1 Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may
prophesy.
2 For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto
God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh
mysteries.
3 But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation,
and comfort.
4 He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that
prophesieth edifieth the church.
5 I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for
greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he
interpret, that the church may receive edifying.
(KJV)
