Christians in Action (CIA)

Under the direction and guidance of Trisha Shipman, the CIA was established to help maintain the level of commitment to our visitors and members at the Family Worship Center. Working hand in hand with the Pastoral Care the CIA devotes their time and efforts in noticing who was not able to attend the weekly service.

Each of the CIA members has certain names that they are responsible for in which they take the time to notice that individual or families absence. If absent during that weeks service the member then send a postcard of encouragement acknowledging their presence being missed. This enables the staff to discover those who were unable to attend due to sickness, family, or personal problems.

Due to the large number of those in attendance the CIA is a great asset to the ministry here at the Family Worship Center. The staff is grateful for their efforts and would also recommended that if you have a desire to join this ministry please contact the office or CIA Director, Trisha Shipman.
